In this project, we are exploring different aspects of identities and how each person’s identity is made up from many different parts. We can share many of the same identity elements but it is how they combine that makes us unique. This project is designed as a study in how you can pick identity elements to create a new person, or simply to look at yourself and reflect about your own identity.
The concept of self and personal identity is also constantly developing over time and in relation to the surrounding environment. Yet, each person portrays a unique value which makes him or her different from others. Your identity can also be seen differently by other people – at home, at work, with friends and with family or online (digital identity). A person’s individual identity is an asset that one might have for a while or even develop into new identities.
2 - pick the identity elements that you feel most match your chosen person
3 - complete the identity by drawing a picture & printing a report
4 - now ask your friends to do your identity to find out what they think about you!
